Notes from the Event Director
Check in at 5:45pm, first round begins at 6pm.
Event will be held at the Courtyard Marriott across the street from the Tacoma Convention Center.
Online registration is $25 / On site registration is $30
You may specify a preferred partner in the comment field when registering, players without a partner will be teamed up on site.
Format: G5/0; 2-player teams; 6 rounds, double round swiss. (2 games with each opponent=12 total games per team) NO ELIMINATION
Sections: Single Open Section (may split by grade/ratings depending on turnout)
Prizes: Trophies for top places
Clocks: PLEASE bring your own chess clock if you have one there will be a limited # of additional clocks onsite. (Chess sets/boards will be provided.)
