Notes from the Event Director
Lowell Elementary PTA is excited to announce its first chess tournament in years!! It will be held at Fairhaven Middle School on March 28th! Don’t miss out! Trophies, medals, door prizes, Unrated prizes, Upset prizes, chess, friends and fun!!
Tournament Schedule:
Check-in opens: 8:45 am
Check-in closes: 9:15 am
1st Round: 9:45 am
Each round will take approximately 1 hour, with a small break in between rounds for pairing.
There will be no formal break for lunch, but pizza will be available around noon. Pizza, PTA bake sale, and additional concessions will be available for purchase on site. Cash or card accepted.
Awards ceremony to be held soon after the completion of all games, approximately 3pm. Top three finishers in each section will receive a trophy!
5 Round Swiss, NWSRS Rated, WA Elementary State Qualifier.
